Sophie Christoforou holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Liverpool, a Legal Practice Certificate (LPC) from the University of Law, and an MSc in Law and Business Management, also from the University of Law, bringing a strong academic foundation in both legal practice and business to her role at MK Compliance Limited.

As AML & Compliance Assistant at MK Compliance Limited, Sophie supports the team across a range of compliance functions, including undertaking due diligence checks for clients, advising on client onboarding procedures, conducting regulatory research and investigations, and performing screenings and background checks. She is committed to ensuring that AML controls and procedures are applied accurately and in line with applicable regulatory requirements.

Sophie also serves as Compliance Assistant at Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC, where she contributes to a broad range of AML and compliance activities, supporting the firm in maintaining sound regulatory standards across its client portfolio.
